How Breathwork Changed My Life

I used to feel like my life was spinning out of control. I had no idea where I was going, and I felt like I had no control over my future. But then something changed. I discovered breathwork and it completely changed my life. I was first introduced to breathwork by my therapist. She had me lie down on the couch and put a pillow under my head. She told me to close my eyes and breathe deeply through my nose. I did as she instructed, and after a few minutes, she asked me to keep breathing but to focus on the breath going in and out of my belly. She told me to picture the breath going all the way down into my belly and then back up again.
I continued to breathe deeply, and after a while, I started to feel more relaxed. My therapist then asked me to focus on any thoughts or emotions that came up for me while I was breathing. I didn’t really have any specific thoughts or emotions come up, but I did start to feel more aware of my body and how it was feeling.
After about 20 minutes of breathwork, my therapist had me sit up and talk about what I had experienced. She asked me if I felt more relaxed and if I had noticed anything else while I was doing the breathwork. I told her that I felt more aware of my body and how it was feeling.

Breathwork is a type of meditation that involves focusing on your breath. It helps you to be more present and aware of your thoughts and feelings. After just a few sessions of breathwork, I noticed a huge difference in my mental health.
I felt calmer and more in control of my emotions. My anxiety and depression started to lessen. I even began to sleep better at night. Breathwork has truly changed my life for the better.

Through breathwork I have gained clarity, insight and a greater sense of peace which has enabled me to move forward in a more positive direction.
